1 The calibration error is assessed by independently computing the positions of spectral responses to isolated and sufficiently bright emission lines by the center of gravity (COG) method. The error is given as the RMSE deviation from the true wavelengths of the emission lines.

The wavelength $ \lambda_p $ (in units of nm) of a sensor pixel $ {p} $ can be calculated by the following tuning curve polynomial:

$$ \lambda_{p} = \sum_{k=0}^5 a_{k}p^{k} \quad \text{ where } \quad p=0, 1, ..., 1023 $$
